Institution-a media business sometimes not primarily there to entertain us and produce media they are not always a profit organisation such as BBC Media production is done by organisations these organisations make the product, sell it and then advertise and distribute it. The type of institution can influence the media product
Audience-the type of people viewing a media source the people who consume it eg: children, adults and elderly Audience study turns attention on how people receive these communications and how audience are targeted by what they read, see or listen to
Media Language-is the way that media texts communicate with people that use them eg:miss en scene
Representation-the media products presented to us with information selected for us for example in the media football fans are represent as aggressive and violent starting fights with their shirt off a cockney accent
